Our Specialty

Tile Installation in Wenatchee & North Central Washington

Kitchens, bathrooms, custom showers, backsplashes, and tile floors, installed by the same family crew since 2012.

River Rock Flooring is a family-owned flooring and tile contractor in Wenatchee, Washington, serving North Central Washington since 2012. Tile is the heart of River Rock Flooring. It is what most of our weeks look like: a shower in Wenatchee, a backsplash in East Wenatchee, a bathroom floor in Cashmere, a stone entry up in Leavenworth. Fourteen years of that work across North Central Washington has given us a feel for what holds up in these homes and what does not.

We are a small family crew, which means the person who quotes your job is the person setting the tile. You get straight answers about materials, layout, and timeline, and you get a finished room that still looks right ten years from now.

What We Tile

Every kind of tile work in the valley

Custom Showers

Fully waterproofed pans, benches, niches, and curbless entries built to last decades, not seasons.

Bathroom Floors & Walls

Guest baths to full master remodels, laid out so the cuts land where they should.

Kitchen Backsplashes

Subway, zellige, herringbone, and slab backsplashes with clean edges around outlets and hoods.

Tile & Stone Floors

Porcelain, ceramic, and natural stone floors set flat and level over properly prepped subfloor.

Entryways & Mudrooms

Hardworking surfaces for Wenatchee winters, orchard dust, and wet boots.

Heated Tile Floors

Electric radiant heat installed under tile so the coldest room in the house stops being one.

Our Process

Four steps, start to finish

  1. 1

In-home measurement and a written estimate

We come out, measure the space, talk through tile and layout options, and put a written estimate in your hands. No pressure, no vague answers.

  2. 2

    Prep and waterproofing done right

Subfloor gets flattened and reinforced, wet areas get a full waterproofing system. This is the invisible work that decides whether tile lasts.

  3. 3

    Precision installation

Layout is planned so cuts and grout lines land where they look intentional. Everything is set flat, plumb, and consistent.

  4. 4

    Clean finish and final walkthrough

Grout, caulk, seal, haul off the debris, and walk the job with you before we call it done.

Our Craft

Why tile is our craft

Tile is most of what we do, week in and week out. It is also the least forgiving trade in flooring. Prep, waterproofing, and layout either get done right or they fail in a few years, and by then the failure is behind the wall where nobody can see it coming.

Fourteen years of referral work across Wenatchee and North Central Washington says ours gets done right. We have never advertised. Homeowners and builders keep sending us their neighbors because the showers we built in 2013 are still dry.

Why River Rock

Why homeowners here keep calling us back

FAQ

Common questions from valley homeowners

What happens at a free estimate?
We come to your home, measure the space, look at the subfloor and any prep the job needs, and talk through tile, layout, and timeline options with you. You get a free written estimate before anything starts, with no pressure and no obligation.
How long does a bathroom tile job take?
A typical Wenatchee bathroom runs about three to five working days from demo to grout, plus cure time before the shower gets used. Larger bathrooms, heated floors, or hidden water damage add a day or two. We give you a realistic schedule up front and tell you right away if something changes.
Do you do custom showers and waterproofing?
Yes, and it is the part of the job we care about most. We build showers with proper slope, pan detail, and a full waterproofing system behind the tile so water never reaches framing. Niches, benches, curbless entries, and full stone slabs are all normal work for us.
Do you install heated floors?
We do. Electric radiant mats go in under tile in bathrooms, entryways, and kitchens, and they are worth it in North Central Washington winters. It is easiest to add while the floor is already open, so tell us early and we will plan the layout and thermostat with you.
