Laminate & LVP Flooring in Wenatchee, WA
Durable, water-resistant, hardworking flooring for families, rentals, and remodels across North Central Washington.
River Rock Flooring is a family-owned flooring and tile contractor in Wenatchee, Washington, serving North Central Washington since 2012. Laminate and luxury vinyl plank are the workhorses of the valley. They give you the look of wood with far more forgiveness, they take abuse from kids, dogs, and winter boots, and the water-resistant products handle the spills that would ruin a real hardwood floor. For rentals and whole-house remodels in Wenatchee, they are often the most practical choice in the house.
The catch is that a floating floor is only as flat as what is under it. We prep the subfloor properly, plan the plank direction and seams, and finish the edges with real trim work so the job does not look like a weekend project.

Common questions from valley homeowners
- What is the difference between laminate and LVP?
- Laminate has a dense fiberboard core with a printed, wear-resistant surface, and it feels firm underfoot with very realistic wood looks. Luxury vinyl plank is fully synthetic, so it handles standing water far better and is the safer pick for bathrooms, laundry rooms, and basements. For most of the house either one works, and we help you choose based on the rooms and the traffic.
- How do they hold up with kids and pets?
- Very well, which is why families across Wenatchee keep asking for them. Both resist scratches and dents better than most hardwood, and quality LVP shrugs off spills, wet paws, and dog nails without staining. Pick a higher wear layer and a textured finish and the floor still looks good years later.
- What happens at a free estimate?
- We come to your home, measure the rooms, check the subfloor for flatness, and talk through laminate versus LVP, wear layers, and trim and transition work. You get a free written estimate before anything starts, with no pressure and no obligation.
- How long does installation take?
- Most homes in the valley are done in one to three working days once prep is finished. Floating floors go down fast, so the schedule is usually driven by demo and subfloor leveling rather than the planks themselves. You can typically walk on it and move furniture back the same day it is finished.
